January 2013 Meeting

The January meeting was devoted to Program Planning. Those in attendance reviewed current LWVNJ positions and voted to reaffirm or update all positions except supporting an office of Lieutenant Governor, since it's a fait accompli. Our responses were forwarded to Toni Zimmer. We understand that the Montclair League is proposing a study on human trafficking, which would be voted on at State Convention. The Convention will include a social event in Princeton on May 3, with the business portion to be held at Mercer County Community College on May 4.
