The League of Women Voters of the Princeton Area submitted the following three questions to all candidates for Rocky Hill Borough Council and Mayor:
1. Additional speed traps and a pedestrian right-of-way banner have done little to deter vehicular speeding on Route 518 and Montgomery Avenue. Please describe your plans for reducing speed on these roads and list any additional ideas to protect the safety of pedestrians around the post office on 518.
2. Please outline your specific recommendations on how to keep taxes reasonable in Rocky Hill so that long-term residents can afford to live and remain in the community.
3. Heavy truck traffic, additional deliveries at the Montgomery Shopping Center, and the Princeton Airport have greatly increased the noise annoyances in Rocky Hill. If elected, what specific plans would you implement to reduce this problem?
